Combursa Sectional Doors

Combursa self-repairing roller door

Technical details

Self-repairable door designed to close indoor recesses. It has a patented system that returns the canvas to its correct position after an accident.

Handling
The door is controlled from the transistorised electric panel using a single up/down button. The opening and closing speed of 1.0 m/sec. means that operating time is very short, which also leads to energy saving and greater operating performance.
If the canvas is knocked and comes out of the rails, simply press the up button and the canvas lifts. Press down and the canvas is repositioned into the side rails.
The structure of the door consists of a header and aluminium side frames. The header houses all mechanisms to roll up the canvas. The canvas slides down guided by the side frames. Rivets on the side ensure that it is correctly guided along. The bag filled with granulated material on the lower section adapts perfectly to all floors even if they are not flat.

Specifications

  • Control panel: 24 V operation, as recommended by E.E.C. regulations. It is supplied with all required safety elements. 220 single-phase / 220 three phase shifter controls the speed of the door, allowing the canvas to be inserted into the rails at a moderate speed, and a speed of 1.0 m/sec. along the rails
  • Canvas: Manufactured from flexible PVC with a thickness of 180 microns
  • Side frames: made of extruded aluminium with nylon sections inside to ensure that the canvas slides correctly. Openings on the upper part enable the canvas to be repositioned if it comes out of the rail.

Installation
The door does not require complicated anchoring, simply mount the brackets which are provided with the door.

Safety elements:

  • Emergency stop: used to stop the canvas at any point on its stroke
  • Lower canvas bag: granulated material inside this bag prevents damage from personnel or material if the door is blocked
  • Photocell set-upper mirror: this unit is located in the header and detects if the canvas has unrolled excessively if it is blocked on descent
  • Photocell set-lower mirror: this set is located at the bottom of the side guides. When it detects an obstacle it changes the running direction of the canvas
