Combursa Electro-Hydraulic Leveller with Telescopic Lip

Technical details

Electro-hydraulic operation with easy handling. The operator controls the ramp with no possibilities for error and no risks. Only one button controls all movements of the leveller and the lip.

Handling
The powerpack is operated by a transistor control panel with one push button.

Start
Once the truck has set against the bumpers, the Up/Down button is pushed. The leveller lifts to its highest position and the lip swings outwards. Releasing the button, the platform of the leveller lowers smoothly until it rests on the truck platform.

Return to idle position
With the lip of the leveller is resting on the platform of the truck, the Up/Down button is pushed, the leveller raises and, at the same time, the lip swings inwards. Once completed, release the button and the leveller lowers smoothly to its cross traffic position.

Characteristics

  • Control panel: runs on a 24V power supply, in accordance with European Norms. Equipped with the necessary safety elements to protect the machine and its connections.
  • Powerpack: powered by a 1.5 HP motor, equipped with:
    • Hydraulic pump
    • 8 lt. oil tank with vision hatch for oil level control
    • Logicblock for all elements (including 24V operating electrovalve)
    • 2 Ø 35mm rod cylinders with parachute safety valve
    • 1 lip opening cylinder
    • Hoses

The hydraulic group is fixed upfront underneath the leveller's upper platform, achieving better protection against flooding, humidity in the pit and forklift blades. There is a retractable maintenance system.

  • Lip with self-cleaning hinges: the front hinges are designed to minimise the maintenance and cleaning of the lip
  • Absorption of side inclinations of the truck bed: the leveller is manufactured to allow transversal differences of height of the truck of up to 100 mm on each side.

Safety elements

  • Toe guards: the ramp is equipped with toe guards which prevent the operator's foot from passing between the machine and the loading dock when the dock leveller is functioning above the dock level
  • Visual markings / warning labels: placed along the sides of the platform, these warn operators that the platform is above dock level
  • Rubber bumpers: protect the ramp and the truck from low-speed knocks. Standard accessory measuring 400 x 80 x 75 mm (please consult for other sizes)
  • Safety valve: if the truck is withdrawn from the dock with the lip of the leveller still resting on the truck bed, the platform lowers slowly, controlled by the safety valve. If, at this moment, there is an additional load on the leveller, the valve detects it and blocks the ramp in this position
  • Emergency STOP: a red button stops any movement of the ramp
  • Theft security: when the ramp lowers itself to the parked position, the folded lip remains trapped and cannot be opened from the outside. At the same time this allows traffic to cross.

Options

  • Anticorrosive finishes (hot dip galvanisation, stainless steel,…)
  • Segmented lips
  • Automatic return
  • Rubber bumpers
  • Free standing metallic frames

Finish
The anticorrosion finishing process for the leveller includes degreasing, drying, basic anticorrosive primer and final colour RAL 6005 (please consult for other RAL colours)

Embedded pit
